Meet the Team
Rachel Thomas
Rachel is a paediatric occupational therapist who is passionate about supporting children and their families through everyday challenges, especially around mealtimes. She helps children feel safe, regulated, and confident by building postural strength, supporting sensory needs, and creating calmer mealtime routines. Her sessions are playful, child-led, and responsive, offering a safe space to explore food at the child’s pace. Rachel values the parent–child connection and offers practical strategies tailored to each family.
She is currently completing a PhD in paediatric feeding disorders, focusing on how services can better reflect what matters most to families. Rachel brings this perspective into her practice, using sensory, motor, and relationship-based approaches while working closely with families and professionals to create lasting change.

Theresa Elliott
Orofacial Myologist & Speech and Language Pathologist
Theresa Elliott is a speech pathologist and myofunctional therapist with a special interest in feeding therapy. She takes a holistic approach, looking for the root causes of feeding difficulties, such as airway concerns, gut health, sensory processing issues, and oral motor challenges. Theresa values working collaboratively with other professionals and refers families to trusted specialists when needed, ensuring families receive well-rounded care.
Her sessions are play-based and engaging, helping children and their families feel comfortable and positive about mealtimes. She encourages children to explore new foods, building their confidence and skills while respecting their autonomy. Theresa’s approach is flexible and tailored to each child, with the goal of empowering families to develop a lasting relationship with food.

We take the time to truly understand your family’s needs and challenges. Whether it's a child having difficulty eating, struggling to sit at the table, or dealing with gut health issues, we bring everything together to support your family’s unique journey.
Our goal isn’t just short-term help – we aim to set families up for long-term success and independence. We don’t believe in endless therapy sessions; instead, we focus on a comprehensive assessment, so your family feels empowered and confident in managing mealtime challenges.
In addition, we have a trusted referral network of experienced professionals, including dietitian’s, medical specialists, dentists and other specialists who work with us to provide you with the best care possible.
